rtCGM stands for real – time continuous glucose monitoring . _ Unlike measuring blood sugar, the glucose content in the tissue fluid of the subcutaneous fat tissue is measured with an rtCGM system. Measurements are taken automatically at intervals of just a few minutes.
A small sensor, which is usually located under the skin on the stomach or upper arm, carries out the measurements. The data is then transmitted to a special receiver or to a smartphone app. People with diabetes can keep an eye on the current glucose value at all times without having to measure it manually.
The sensor is attached to the cleansed skin using an applicator. It measures your tissue glucose levels at regular intervals – safely and reliably.
The transmitter collects and stores the data from the sensor and transmits it to the receiver or the app on your smartphone.
The receiver device can be used alternatively if you do not have a smartphone. It receives the current tissue glucose values from the transmitter via Bluetooth. All data is clearly displayed on the receiver’s display.
With this software you can easily store, organize and visualize your MyGuard CT-14 data in a variety of ways. You can also share your data with others. The software is easy to use and has a wide range of features that make it indispensable for anyone who needs to store and visualize data. *The software is only suitable for Windows 7 or higher operating systems. It is not possible to install the software in the older operating systems. The minimum requirements for a working software are: 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor, 2 GB RAM and 1 GB hard disk space. The software is only available in the 64-bit version for Mac OS and only supports Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) and higher versions. The minimum hardware requirements are: 1 GHz dual-core i3 processor, 2 GB RAM and 1 GB storage space.
The application of the rtCGM system MyGuard CT-14 is very easy for private users. The step-by-step instructions explain individual application steps in a simple and understandable way. The system works absolutely reliably and safely for a period of up to 14 days.
